Had a very nice time at the campground. The water slides are great, however the park has two small pools one in the front and one with the water slides. The park and sites are clean and the staff was friendly. The battle field is a few miles away and fun for a family as well. We will return.

This was our first stay at Quarryville Jellystone and we had an outstanding trip with close friends. We had buddy sites awning to awning b1 and b1a great sites. I met the owner upon arrival and he was extremely nice and the staff was as well. Yes it was expensive but you pay for what you get. Very nice pool and water park roads in excellent shape and our site was level. The owners of the campground are putting allot of work and time in this resort. If you have children then GO . They have so many activities for the kids you cant fit them all in. My family has stayed many places and Disney Worlds Fort Wilderness was the best however I would rate this experience top notch as well. I highly recommend campers to try this campground.

This was our first trip to Woodlands. I was very happy with the campground. For the campground being mostly permitted sites it was very clean and well kept. The office staff was friendly and the campers were very nice as well. We were in site 45 and friends in site 46. We had a great time. I highly recommend this campground.

Another great time at Heritage Cove. This is our second Memorial day stay and again it was great. The Owners are Outstanding they stay late and arrive early. Again campers I will say it again for children/teens they make there own fun. There is NO game room No cell phone service and No putt putt......Boating, Fishing, Biking, Hiking etc...All outdoor fun.... We booked 10 sites this year and All in the party had a Great time. But remember fun is what YOU make it.......

The only reason I come back to this campground is for Hershey Park. I will only stay in the 200 sites (E,W,S backs up to field for kids to play) Our group had 5 sites and 1 cabin and there were over 35 of us.The family and friends is what made it a great time. However with this stay I was upset with the campers across from us. Stayed up till 3AM yelling screaming etc. We asked them to keep it down they were louder the next night. At check out we spoke to the manager and she said next time call on the phone and we will get someone to you. Another words sorry for your luck, so if any one has any problems remember the security phone is by front door of lodge. They do not have full time security, sad to say. Will I go back? Yes, as long as I am in 200 section and I know were the security phone is.

This was my first time at the campground. I thought it was very nice. The employees were outstanding and very helpful. The only negative for me was that it was on the west side of Gettysburg, and you go through town to get there. I like staying out by RT 15. I would go back though.

This is our second trip to Ft Whaley and we will go back. The location is perfect take Rt 90 to North OC or Rt 50 to the inlet. You can use Waterpark at Frontier town as part of your fee for staying at the campground. The grounds are clean and the staff was outstanding during our trip. For a super site E,W,S,C for 3 adults 3 children it was 95.00 however a hotel room in OC in peak season is 250.00 a night so I guess it was worth it. I like it better than Frontier Town just my thought.

Everything is great about the park. The pool, sites, roads, game room/ activities ,views, lake and Lancaster County is beautiful.... etc.....So why did I give it a 7.. Not much bad at all until you meet the workers and the cousin of the owner....No politeness to the tone of there voice at all. To say not friendly would be untrue however people skills they due not have. It seemed they cared a less about campers weather you come back or not they are booked so they dont care. For example if you asked a question it felt like you where a bother to them. They did not want to give you the time of day. And hope your children did not ask them anything or they would just ignore them. Would I go back??? Dont know... I would of given it a 10+ if the workers had people skills..

The staff was great...Stayed late to welcome us in> Took us to the site and stayed tell we were hooked up.Large sites/with full hookup.. However not much to do or should I say you make your own fun. The owner is great he does not mind if kids make a fort, search for frogs fish, hike, bike swim boat board games etc any thing out doors....NO VIDEO GAME ROOM ...real rving . The kids have to think for them self like we did to have fun. I thought it was great NO CELL PHONE Service for anyone just think your teen went without texting the whole weekend. We would go back but remember you make it fun

This was our second stay at Hershey. Yes it was early in the season however it was not that crowded in the campground. Remember the sites are tight. Must say very friendly workers and campers were also nice.

Very $$$$$ however .....you pay for what you get. Clean restrooms/showers, landscaping , sites groomed ,1/2 paved , sing alongs ,movies, easy access to the park and I mean very easy , nice workers , tennis, pool heated , very large grounds, and many activities. We went over Christmas the sites were decorated very pretty . There were a total of 20 of us in our party on five seperate sites.. 2 sites in 300 section 3 sites in 1200-1300 section all sites were great .I had no trouble getting into site 305 I have a 30 ft travel trailer. Every one in our party will go back. However book now if you want to get in .

For an older campground I think this is the best in the area. I have seen most of the other campgrounds in Gettysburg and this is the most relaxing..... No fast golf carts, and not over crowded.. Staff friendly and sites on lower level 200 section are very nice. Even the sites by route 15 are not bad.... noise is to a minimum. It seems to be a slower pace at this campground over the others and thats how I like it. The other campers in the area seemed to keep the sites clean and they were also friendly. This was our third trip and we will go back.

We stayed three nights and if it wasn't for the site I was on I would of given it a 5 for an overall rating. We were in the pull thru sites last row by field (200 section) The sites are close together. I expected so much more from Hershey. The bathrooms were a mess and this was at 830am I must say I did not use them the rest of trip (mens room). The campground is not that pretty and the rivers are dried up no fishing (FYI) If you have a big rig good luck with the turns it is tight. To the good ....The staff was friendly and the noise was at a low. The campers all around were great and nice. The pool is nice as well. Had great time at the Park itself. We would go back if I could get same site or at least same row.

Had outstanding trip. The sites are huge and the workers are nice. Great fishing in the lake. The campers in the park were nice as well. Only two complaints, No shade (new park take time to grow) and lots of flys that bite. I would go back again.

The campground is outstanding. Sites are large and workers are very nice. Stayed there to travel to O.C for a lacrosse tournament. The grounds and bath house were very clean as well. I also took my son fishing in the lake on the back side of the campground. (use live bait) We were also able to use the water park at Frontier Town for free. I recommend Fort Whaley to all campers. Had a great time.......

Drove up to campground and thought to myself should we turn around ??? 80% are permanent sites 20% transit. Noticed old trailers look like sitting for years, high grass, mold on trailers etc. However I thought we should give it a chance. The workers were very nice at check in. Went to site and it was large and on incline. Was able to level. The showers were clean however water very HOT, and could not turn down. During this weekend we noticed lots of people arriving saturday morning to their sites. They were cutting grass, power washing, etc... I must say, the park I saw friday night was much different when we left monday morning. We would go back as a second choice in that area.
